Held at Lone Star Preserve in Upton, KY and hosted by The Louisville Grotto. Features new caves, old favorites, new plans and activities, old and new friends. Lone Star Preserve is a 67-acre caving preserve, which has been purchased and developed by the Louisville Grotto Club. Includes primitive campsites, with plenty of shade. DEAFESTIVAL 2010

This biennial festival that celebrates the language, culture and diversity of the deaf and hard of hearing community and its contributions to Kentucky’s cultural heritage, is scheduled from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. in historic downtown Horse Cave. All performances are presented in American Sign Language (ASL) with interpretation into spoken English for festival-goers not fluent in ASL. The event is free to the public thanks to generous sponsor and public support.
