July 9th
Hart County Chamber of Commerce Quarterly Luncheon

The event begins at 12 noon central time and will be held at the Hart County Agriculture Center, located on the fairgrounds in Rowletts.  Program will consist of presentation about the Leader in Me process being implemented in the Hart and Caverna School Districts.  Registration fee is $12 and includes a catered meal.  Bring a guest with you for only $6!  To register or for more information, call (270) 524-2892.

HART COUNTY CIVIL WAR DAYS

September 12 to November 1
HILL OF TERROR
The largest haunted attraction in Kentucky is back for the fourth year of frights on their desolate 100-acre property, everything you were ever afraid of will be coming to life. Take I-65 exit 71 Bonnieville to Priceville Road (KY 728). Open every Friday and Saturday dark thirty until 1 am. $20 per person. Not recommended for small children. HORSE CAVE HERITAGE FESTIVAL

Horse Cave celebrates its rich heritage each September with a local festival.  The event is particularly well known for its musical entertainment, from rock & roll to gospel. 2014 marks the city's 150th anniversary, so look for special sesquicentennial events! More than 20 bands are scheduled for continuous free performances on 2 outdoor stages.  Other activities include:  antique cars & farm machinery, local crafts, agricultural exhibits, food booths, kids arcade, historic walking tours, Horse Cave stories cell phone tour and more.  For more information, call (270) 786-2680 or (270) 524-2892.

THE HOLLOW OF UNREST

The Hollow of Unrest will open beginning Sept 26th and will be open Halloween & every Friday & Saturday night through Nov 1 from 8:00pm -12:30 CST. Just 4 miles off of I-65 in Bonnieville, Ky. BIG BUFFALO CROSSING BBQ COOK-OFF

CARVAROO CHAINSAW CARVING EXPO AT KENTUCKY DOWN UNDER ADVENTURE ZOO
Kentucky Down Under Adventure Zoo has carefully selected a group of the finest chainsaw artists in the nation for the second annual Carvaroo Chainsaw Carving Expo. This is your opportunity to watch the artists at work. You will also be able to purchase unique sculptures created by the national champion carvers. Special pricing for this event.

HART COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE'S ANNUAL MEETING

December 6th
CHRISTMAS PARADES

Celebrate the Christmas season with floats, bands, fire trucks, jolly old Santa Claus and more in downtown Munfordville and Horse Cave.  The parade in Horse Cave begins at 10 AM and in Munfordville at 1 PM.

December 7th
HART COUNTY CHORAL SOCIETY CHRISTMAS CONCERT

Ring in the Christmas season with the joyous music of the Hart County Choral Society. Participants from around the region perform sacred and secular Christmas favorites at the Horse Cave Baptist Church sanctuary (301 East Main St. Horse Cave). FREE. Begins at 3 PM.
